The rooms at Hotel Fronhof Mettendorf are cozy and comfortable, with a wardrobe to keep your belongings organized. I loved watching my favorite shows on the flat-screen TV in the room after a long day of exploring nature. Having a private bathroom in each room is definitely a plus, ensuring privacy and convenience. The bed linen and towels provided were clean, making for a pleasant stay.

Personally, I found the closet in the room to be a bit small for my needs.

I stayed at Hotel Fronhof for a week while exploring NaturWanderPark delux, and it was the perfect base. The recently renovated hotel had tastefully decorated rooms with comfortable beds and well-appointed bathrooms. The breakfast, served at the table, was delicious with a nice variety of options. The restaurant offered more than just basic German food, and we enjoyed our meals there throughout our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our experience even more enjoyable.

The town was a great place to start our outdoor adventure, with trails we explored every day. The food was excellent, and we appreciated the broad range of breakfast options. The hotel's facilities were recently updated and well maintained. The friendly owners and staff made us feel at home, and a shout-out to the waiter for going beyond and practicing his German with us!

The walls were thinner than ideal, and noise came through from adjacent rooms, as well as from upstairs. , the pillows provided were very soft and didn’t suit our personal preference;

The walls are very thin, and we could easily hear the neighbors upstairs which made it hard to sleep. The beds were not of high quality.

The friendly and attentive staff ensures an enjoyable stay, and the extensive breakfast served at the table is a standout feature. The hotel also has an on-site restaurant with a good selection of German food. Guests can enjoy the quiet little village and also use it as a base to explore the surrounding natural park. The hotel’s roller shutters provide a good night’s sleep, and the rooms are well-appointed, including spacious and clean bathrooms.

There were some issues with noise from other guests in the neighbouring rooms in the past, but these problems are not repeated in the most recent reviews.
